Anne Meeder holds a B.S. degree in Speech, Communications and Theater Arts from Clarion State University. She is a professional member of NDEO – The National Dance Education Organization – and holds an Associate I in the Cecchetti Council of America Teachers Examination. Anne works as a dance and drama educator in the Lancaster area, and her leading theatrical roles in musical theater and opera span twenty-five years. She is a member of the Grant Street Dance Company and serves as Co-Director of the New Movement Center of Lancaster where she coordinates the children’s dance programs. She remains active as a dancer, choreographer, singer and teacher while continuing her position as Artist in Residence in Dance and Drama at Brecht Elementary School in Manheim Township.

 Anne Meeder has joined the staff at The Fulton Theater as a Teaching Artist and will be offering the following classes through their Education and Outreach programs.
Broadway Bound (Grades 1-2)
Location: Fulton Theatre, 12 N. Prince Street, Lancaster, PA Schedule: Thursdays, March 24-May 12, 5:00pm-6:15pm
Description: This class will develop the students’ repertoire of solo, small group and whole group musical numbers from the Broadway repertoire. Each class will focus on music, dance and acting skills.
Music, Movement and Make Believe (Ages 3-5)
Description: Movin’ and groovin’ to stories and fairytales! Children will explore their imaginations and the art of storytelling through dance and music. Location: Fulton Theatre, 12 N. Prince Street, Lancaster, PA
Session 1: Thursdays, March 24-May 12 10:00am-10:45am Session 2: Thursdays, March 24 – May 12, 4:00pm-4:45pm
